Our red meat diets tend to come out of the freeze-drier firmer than our poultry products. Though more common in red meat diets, this is not an exclusive characteristic of red meat diets as poultry products may exhibit firmer characteristics as well. Hardness may also vary slightly between batches. Because our products are made with real food ingredients, product variation is normal and should be expected. The hardness or softness of our freeze-dried products in not an indicator of freshness.
